Daisy Lowe was born to be a star. The daughter of fashion scenester Pearl Lowe and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, she modeled for the first time at age 2, although she admits that modeling “was never something [she] wanted to do.” Luckily for men around the planet, Daisy changed her attitude in 2005, when she was spotted by a talent scout who encouraged her to give modeling a second chance.
She complied and within a year, Daisy had appeared in a number of high-profile periodicals including Italian Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She has since appeared in advertisements for Urban Outfitters, French Connection, Agent Provocateur, and she posed nude along with her boyfriend Will Blondelle for the cover of the August 2007 edition of i-D, a cutting-edge British fashion magazine.
So, how does this burgeoning superstar stay grounded? "After a shoot, you move on to the next job so quickly, you don't really get a chance to think about it,” she says. She’s also careful about the company she keeps. “I don't surround myself with fashion people,” she explains. “My boyfriend's a musician, and I still hang out with my school friends.”
